Clinical Background

Susan Waterman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon. Having obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Minor degree in Women’s Studies in 1984 at Southern Oregon State College, She went on to complete a Master’s degree in Social Work in 1986 at Portland State University. With over 30 years experience, she maintains a psychotherapy practice serving individuals and families in Oregon.

By creating a safe, supportive experience in therapy, a process of self exploration and discovery can occur. Together we can discuss your hopes and desired outcome from treatment. Often we need to develop new ways of looking at our past and current life, allowing us to move into new life with more peace of mind.

Susan is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (1989 to present). She is a Certified EMDR Specialist since 1995, trained in the Flash Technique in 2022.
